🔧 WHY the Tubing Feels Loose
BabyBuddha’s clear tubing ends in white plastic connectors.
Those connectors make the last 1–2 inches of tubing flare out—so the hose won’t seal on our Collection Cup ports.
Two Easy Fixes 🍼⚙️
OPTION 1 | Trim the Tubing
- Snip off the widened section.
- Slide the fresh cut end straight onto the Collection Cup port.
⚠️ Heads-up: each time you re-attach that tube to the BabyBuddha white connector, it will stretch again—so you may need to trim periodically.
OPTION 2 | Swap to Spectra-Style Tubing
- Grab Spectra replacement tubing (longer & slimmer).
- Cut to your perfect length.
- Push the white BabyBuddha connector into one end—this plugs into the Y-adapter.
- Attach the other end directly to the Collection Cup port.
👍 Bonus: leave this custom hose set just for the cups and keep your original tubing on standard flanges. Zero swapping, zero leaks!
